Project / Programme Lead for Capital Build Projects throughout the UK.  Responsible for the delivery of IT Infrastructure Services and Solutions to new building work streams.  Specifically overseeing supplier engagement and delivery in addition to technology integration across multiple business functions.

Role Held: Project Manager

 

Part of the Professional Services Group responsible for the delivery of medium to large scale infrastructure projects for Amlin Insurance.  Responsible for managing multiple projects; specifically overseeing the implementation of Infrastructure Environments to support Enterprise Application Solutions.

Role Held: Senior Project Manager

 

Part of the Professional Services Division responsible for the delivery of medium to large scale infrastructure projects with budgets in excess of £2m.  Responsible for managing multiple projects; specifically overseeing the implementation of ICT within large Educational Academies; Managed Services and Infrastructure Deployments.  

Achievements include the development of the Viglen Project Management Delivery Framework (aligned to Prince2) which has now been adopted as the standard approach for the delivery of Projects at Viglen. The framework covers the entire project life cycle and is supported by a comprehensive portfolio of project templates including a finance system to track the ‘true cost’ of Project delivery to the Company.

Role Held: IT Project Manager

 

Responsible for the delivery of IT Projects to time, cost and quality governed within the Prince 2 framework. Operating as part of a team tasked with delivering enterprise projects to key business accounts. Typically these will be full lifecycle, with tight time constraints. Reporting at CEO and Director level, projects are delivered from customer site(s) working with delivery and Management Teams. Working as part of the ICT Team based in the South East of England, assigned to a variety of customer accounts and geographic locations as required.

Providing direction and support to technical project teams whilst delivering small to medium size IT Projects. Conducting pre-sale presentations to key business stakeholders to include benefit analysis of new technology against Client strategies.  Acting as the main interface between Serco delivery teams and Client Business Analysts during strategic reviews and project Post Implementation Reviews.

Responsible for the delivery of Small IT Projects; leading a team of 4 Project Managers / Technical Consultants. Controlling a portfolio of Application and Infrastructure Projects; monitoring individual Project KPIs, providing direction and an escalation path for Project Managers.

Role Held: Infrastructure Delivery Manager

 

Leadership of a team of operations engineers, supporting 200+ Netware Servers and 150+ Microsoft Servers. Responsible for: The Infrastructure budget; Management responsibilities for achieving ISO 27001 certification; Line management of 15 members of staff. Working with key customers to resolve service issues and deliver ongoing IT enhancements.
